Client Farmboy Fine Arts

Year 2016–17

Art Direction Le Studio Be-poles

A collection of works created in collaboration with Farmboy Fine Arts for display in the Park MGM hotel. These artworks capture how public parks and open spaces are enjoyed as places to escape, breath and reflect.

The collection draws from observations of green spaces across London – Victoria Park, London Fields, Coram’s Fields and small public gardens nestled in residential areas in North London. The works reflect research into the initial designs of these spaces as well as their later development through organic growth and public engagement.

Client Frances Lincoln / RoCo

Year 2016

Art Direction Luke Fenech

The publisher Frances Lincoln commissioned this project in collaboration with Rose Ray and Caro Langton – also known as RoCo. The project required a body of drawings to illustrate their debut book ‘House of Plants – a modern guide to living with indoor plants’.

The illustrations draw from the vast collection of plants that thrive in Ray and Langton’s home by Hampstead Heath. Drawings completed in their home translated into establishing illustrations to open each chapter, with a separate collection of detailed drawings to aid readers in the identification of individual plants and plant groups.
