Alicia Galer is a multi-disciplinary artist and textile designer based in Bristol in the UK. Her expressive practice sources inspiration from everyday surroundings and observations – the process of gathering objects, imagery, textiles and sketches informing the instinctive and reductive manner of her work.

Originally from East Anglia, Alicia graduated from Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern at Leeds College of Art in 2013. Since 2011 she has maintained a visual journal documenting her research and works in progress.

Alicia’s commissions have included homeware, fashion, packaging, commercial spaces and illustration projects. Her background designing printed textiles for a fashion and textile studio has contributed to an extensive fashion textile portfolio which is available on request.
